A new type of home is coming to Nashville via Hawaii, and Groove Construction will be lending our expertise to help make it happen.
Founded in Honolulu, Hawaii, and based in Brooklyn, New York, Bento Box is a design and product development firm that’s dedicated to small footprint living. Groove has been called on to help build Bento Box’ first multi-dwelling development in Music City, which is scheduled to open next Spring.
Groove will be working in conjunction with general contractor BL Harbert International to complete the five-story, mixed-use project, which is set to include more than 80 residential “micro units” and retail space aimed at attracting creative entrepreneurs.
Öko Skin Installation
The Bento Box living spaces are expected to range in size from 300 to 1,000 square feet. The project is being built at 1267 Third Avenue South in Nashville’s Wedgewood-Houston (WeHo) neighborhood.
Much like the work Groove completed for the luxury Thompson Hotel in downtown Nashville, our team will be installing the distinctive öko skin concrete cladding on the façade covering the much of the exterior for the new Bento Box building.
Groove is one of the few area construction companies with expertise in öko skin installation. Our talented installers and craftsmen are widely known for their quality work with the öko skin product and other forms of commercial and residential siding.
